The Wheelpackers Ride London

My Story

The Wheelpackers are back to 'Ride London'; a hundred (and two) mile spin, starting on the streets of 'The Smoke' and extending to the expressways of Essex.

Our posse of proud pedallers are primarily production personnel (at ITV's Emmerdale studios)  Alex Bousfield, Ste McNally, Chris Chapman, Tony Audenshaw, Ian Robertshaw, Gareth Davies, Carl Summerscales, Andy Whiston, Andy Bell and 'Peleton Potentate' Dean Wright.  Completing the team are secret agents Jo Whiston, Matt & Rachel Schofield and statutory cycling Southerner Jon Rose.

We're spending our freetime feverishly cranking in preperation for the Gran Fondo (big ride) on Sunday May 29th. The chains are oiled, the tyres are inflated, the roads are repaired and we almost have somewhere to sleep (offers of an overnight stay kindly accepted).

Huge thanks for your generous support of our chosen charity Pancreatic Cancer UK who fund research breakthroughs, campaign for change and enable specialist nurses to help those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Many thanks

ps  Keep a look out for the charity quiz night a few days before the event.
