Cord builds peace where people suffer because of conflict or violence. We transform communities impacted by war or social unrest. We enable people to live free from fear, being wrongly arrested or mistreated.

Feeding, clothing and providing shelter to someone in a refugee camp is essential. But, what happens when he or she eventually goes home?? How do they deal with their psychological trauma? What if their community remains divided and violent? What if they can’t access health care or their children can’t go to school? How do we prevent the outbreak of conflict and war in the future?

We address these issues, bringing all parts of society together as we build lasting peace. Cord’s vision is a world where all people live in freedom and in the fullness of life.
